Who this is for

Freelancers and agency owners

You deliver local SEO for clients and want a repeatable process instead of re-deciding what to do each time. The metrics export becomes the report you hand over.

Business owners doing it themselves

You have seen your audit, you know what is wrong, and you would rather fix it yourself than pay someone monthly. This tells you what to do and in what order.

What is inside

Four phases, twenty-four tasks, roughly 8 hours 35 minutes of work. Each task explains why it matters before it tells you what to do.

G

Ground Entity & accuracy

6 tasks · 85 min

Make the business verifiable. Nothing else works until Google and AI systems agree on who this business is, where it is, and what it does.

  • Confirm the profile is claimed and verified
  • Set the business name to the real-world name
  • Fix the map pin to the actual entrance
  • Standardise the name, address and phone
  • Set hours, including the ones people forget
  • Fill in every attribute the category offers
R

Relevance Categories, services, content

5 tasks · 115 min

Decide which searches this business is eligible for at all. This is where the largest single ranking lever sits.

  • Choose the primary category from evidence, not instinct
  • Add secondary categories that are actually true
  • Write the description
  • Build the services list properly
  • Build the products and offers catalogue
I

Influence Reviews & third-party proof

6 tasks · 115 min

Build the signals that compound — reviews and a real photo library — then set the rhythm that stops the work decaying.

  • Set up the review request path
  • Ask for detail, not just stars
  • Reply to every review within 48 hours
  • Log the review baseline
  • Build a real photo library
  • Set the maintenance cadence
D

Discovery AI visibility & measurement

7 tasks · 200 min

Get cited by AI assistants, and prove month over month that the work moved something a client cares about.

  • Fix the entity on the website
  • Do not sell FAQ schema as a rich result
  • Write the answers people actually ask for
  • Build the prompt set
  • Run the visibility check and record the number
  • Record the monthly numbers
  • Claim the other surfaces AI actually reads

Five tools that do the writing

Built into the tasks that need them, not bolted on separately.

Description builder

Builds a description from what the business actually offers, within the character limit, without keyword stuffing.

Review reply writer

Drafts replies that read like a person wrote them. Handles the difficult ones as well as the easy ones.

Review request message

The message that gets a detailed review instead of a bare five stars.

AI prompt set

The exact prompts to test whether assistants mention this business, and what they say when they do.

Metrics table with CSV export

Records the baseline and the monthly numbers, so the before and after is a document, not a claim.

Every claim carries a label

Local SEO advice is full of numbers nobody can trace. In GRID, each factual claim shows where it came from, so you can tell the difference between something tested and something someone believes.

Proven

A controlled test or Google's own documentation, cited with the source.

Survey

An industry study, named, and flagged as correlation rather than cause.

Judgment

Practitioner opinion, labelled as such, with no invented data behind it.

An example of why this matters. Google restricted FAQ rich results in August 2023 and added a deprecation notice to the FAQ structured data documentation on 7 May 2026. GRID tells you not to sell FAQ schema as a rich result — and cites both notices, so you are not repeating advice that stopped being true.

Questions

Is this software or a course?

Neither, exactly. It is a working system you log into. Each task explains why it matters, how to do it, and gives you fields to record what you did. Five built-in tools generate the copy you would otherwise write from scratch. Your progress saves as you go.

How long does it take?

The tasks total roughly 8 hours 35 minutes of actual work. Most of the setup can be done in a couple of sittings. Reviews, photos and measurement need elapsed time by their nature, and one task sets the weekly rhythm that keeps the results from slipping back.

Does one purchase cover more than one business?

No. One licence covers one business, and the business name locks once you start. If you manage profiles for several clients, you need a licence for each.

Do I need to know local SEO already?

No. Every task states why it matters before it tells you what to do. If you already know the fundamentals, the Discovery phase on AI visibility is likely the part that is new.

What is the audit report included?

One full Maptrix audit of the business you are working on, which costs 1 credit. Run it before you start to get your baseline, and it becomes the before half of your before-and-after.

Will this get me to the top of the map pack?

Nobody can promise that, and anyone who does is guessing. What this does is remove the reasons a profile is held back, in the order that matters, and measure what changed. Ranking depends on your competitors as much as on you.

Refunds

GRID is a digital product delivered immediately, so it is non-refundable once the system has been opened. We can see whether an account has accessed it.

There are three exceptions, and we honour them without argument:

  • You were charged twice for the same purchase.
  • You paid but never received access, and we could not fix it.
  • You have not opened the system at all, and you ask within 7 days of purchase.

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method. Email support with your payment ID to start one. We do not refund because rankings did not move — no honest seller can promise a ranking outcome, and we do not.
